Before you attempt to assign items - the Advanced Settings (cog) need to be created to match the items being loaded in via the KML file.
Display Node without Name: when ticked, node without name will be enabled in the tree to assign
Use Auto Index On Same Name: when ticked, node will have auto index on same name
Auto Map Zoom: when ticked, map will zoom to selection.
Rename Path To UTEL Name Convention: when ticked, path will be renamed with start and end as name.
Key Name: key to look at when the name is not automatically found. This is configurable according to the key used in the table
Start Path Key Name: key to look for path start name. This is configurable according to the key used in the table
End Path Key Name: key to look for path end name. This is configurable according to the key used in the table
Type Name: key to look at when the type name is not automatically found. This is configurable according to the key used in the table
Add File Name: when ticked, file name will be added to name of layer grouping.
Minimum Closest Point Distance: set the max distance in meters to find closest close point, not any point, for path.
If there is no point within the specified distance then the path won't have a start or/and end - and therefore will be created as a UC Duct (path without start and/or end).
Number Width: set number width to pad zero for naming.
Cable association section:
Default Duct: Default duct to auto select when assigning ducts
Default Closure: Default closure to auto select when assigning closures
Default Patch Cassette: Default patch cassette to auto select when assigning patch cassettes
Default Patch Group: Default patch group to auto select when assigning patch groups
Show/Hide Auto Select Equipment:
POPs: Default POP to auto select when assigning POPs
Manholes: Default manhole to auto select when assigning manholes
Poles: Default pole to auto select when assigning poles
Cables: Default cable to auto select when assigning cables
Distribution Points: Default distribution point to auto select when assigning distribution points
To add another category to be assigned for auto selecting - search the item in the Host Class drop down list.
Select item and 'Add Category'.
The category is added. Select the default item to assist with the auto selecting process.
Once all the categories required are added - select Store.
