If a mapper has been added, and the duct needs to go via the enclosure it is easy to split the duct.
Edit and Split will be available if the duct is not enclosed by another duct (see Duct INNER).
To split the duct select the Split button in the duct pop up.
A right side tab will pop up asking you to either select a new or existing item to split into.
Select Split to existing tick box to show drop down of items on the map available to split into.
To allow for ease there is also an option to select the item on the map, as there might be a very long list of items to scroll.
Selecting on the map will highlight the name in the list.
Selecting OK, the duct splits and adjusts the path to and via the selected item.
Select Split to new tick box to show drop down of equipment available to split with.
Make sure your cursor is on the spot you would like to split into on the duct, before selecting Split.
Enter the name you would like to use, and click OK.
The duct is split on the split point, adjusts the duct details, and adds the new item to the tree.
To edit the duct select the Edit button in the duct pop up.
You will be able to move the duct using the clicking dragging with the left mouse button.
When you are finished moving the duct, right click and select Complete.
